liquids

liquids

There are different types of fluids used in vehicles, the automatic transmission fluid, steering fluid, brake fluid, and so on.
These liquids have broad applications, including power transmission, control, hydraulic and lubricating systems.

ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid)
ATF is a high-quality fluid, which is primarily used in the automatic transmission - A /T (Automatic Transmission). In the market there are five types of ATF used: D-II,Type T, T-II, T-III and T-IV.

INSTRUCTIONS:
These types of "T", "T-II" and "T-III" ATF is not used again after the introduction ofATF type "T-IV".

CAUTION:
Various types of fluid used depends on the model of the automatic transmission - A / T. Therefore, be sure to see signs of fluid in the fluid level gauges or drain plugs, and lubricants in the chapter on the preparation of Repair Manual.

Power Steering Fluid
Power steering fluid serves as a hydraulic oil that generates hydraulic pressure, which also serves as a lubricant for the cylinder and power steering pump.

INSTRUCTIONS:
DEXRON ® II or DEXRON ® III ATF is used because the type meets the requirements.

Brake fluid
The brake system uses a lot of part-part rubber-like cover, boot, flexible hose, and so on. For this reason, the brake fluid from the fluid is made without oil is mainly composed of the glycol ether-ether-ether eternya and which does not affect rubber and metal.
Brake fluid is also used for hydraulic clutch.

Fluid shock absorbers
Shock absorber fluid is the fluid that coats equipment shock absorbers suspension, which acts to reduce vibration springs. Can not be replaced alone. If there is a leak, replace the damper kejutnya.

Fluid suspension
Suspension fluid is a fluid that is used for active height control system.

LLC (Long Life Coolant)

LLC is a liquid coolant which is mainly composed of ethylene glycol and mixed with water. Coolant is suitable for different seasons. LLC lowers the freezing point of coolant. LLC protects the cooling system from rust or corrosion.
LLC is mixed with water, and temperature should be set in accordance with the outside temperature to prevent freezing. The stronger the concentration LLC, it will be increasingly difficult for the liquid coolant to freeze. However, if the concentration LLC is too strong, then it will not work. Use the LLC with a concentration of 30% to 50%.

LLC must be replaced periodically, because its function declines with use.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Standard for coolant concentration and temperature thresholds are:
30% concentration
- Approximately -16 º C
50% concentration
- About - 35 º C
