How to replace the differential oil Toyota Avanza
Differential oil change should be 2 years or 40 000 km so that the gear on the differential is maintained.
A. CHECK THE OIL Differential
a.Stop the vehicle on a flat surface.
b.Remove the differential filler plug and gasket.
c.Check that the surface with your finger on the oil to be 5 mm (0:20 in.) From the lowest position of opening the oil filler bolt.
CAUTION:
Excess or shortage of oil can cause interference.
d.Check for oil leaks when the oil level is low.
e.Pairs of differential filler plug with new gasket.

2. ADDED OIL Differential
a.Remove the rear differential filler plug and gasket.
Grade of oil:
Grade gear oil API GL-5 SAE 80W-90, 85W-90 or 90
capacity:
1.45 to 1.75 liters (1.53 to 1.85 U.S. qts, 1.28 to 1.54 Imp. Qts)
b.Check the oil level.
c.Pairs of differential filler plug with new gasket.

CAUTION:
After the addition of oil, check oil level after initial driving.
