Joint Industrial Tools Motor Cars ( GIAMM ) in collaboration with Thai businessmen to expand trade links between the two countries . Chairman Hadi GIAMM Surjadipradja argues network expansion since the trade need to be initiated now before the free trade between countries in Asean enforced from 2015 . Analysis by Frost & Sullivan , the ASEAN automotive market will grow 5.8 % during 2012-2019 . Regional automotive market in 2019 is projected to touch 4.71 million units, spurred the rapid market in Indonesia and Thailand . When Indonesia was the target of 1.1 million units , Thailand has been the production of 2.55 million units . President of the Association of Thai Subcontracting Promotion Somkiat Chupukcharoen explained from the production target to supply the local market of 1 million units and 1.4 million units exported . During January- July 2013 actual production reached 1.54 million units , 840,000 units exported to other domestic . "The collaboration of industry supporters of Indonesia and Thailand allow us to grow together , " he said .

Honda to raise prices
AHM has raised the price of motorcycles imported components . Thomas Wijaya , said Gen.Manager Sales Division AHM AHM Honda PCX 150 raised the price of Rp2 million to Rp36 , 8 million per unit . Honda Scoopy FI also raise prices 5 % -10 % as imported components . Currently Scoopy FI priced Rp14 , 25 million, up 150,000 from the previous price . AHM will also raise the price of CBR150R and CBR250R .
Unlike the AHM , Suzuki Indomobil Sales to date have not raised prices . Yohan Yahya , Marketing Head Suzuki assess the weakening rupiah has not effect on sales .
