Low MPV market more lively after Indomobil Suzuki Sales (SIS) launched Ertiga, engine 1373 cc, 4 cylinder, 16 valves and a maximum power of 95 PS/6.000 rpm. Tuilan Davy, Director of the SIS explained Ertiga comes in three variants namely GA, GL, and GX. Price on the road in Jakarta for Rp143 million GA, GL Rp153 million and Rp165 million GX. Volvo set up 10 new models
Volvo Car Corporation intends to double the number of variants in China. The Swedish automaker now owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group it will introduce 10 models within six years. Fuel restriction put on Electronic Stickers
Downstream Regulatory Agency to make sure to use the manual with the attachment mechanism of the electronic stickers in a program of subsidized fuel restrictions. "As time mepet, we make sure to use the sticker," said Ibrahim Hashim BPH Migas Committee. The Government has prepared Rp 400 billion for subsidized fuel restriction program in Greater Jakarta. Coordinating Minister Hatta Rajasa said earlier, restrictions on subsidized fuel per 1 May that could save fuel consumption of about 2 million kiloliters. AHM 200 000 held a tree planting to commemorate World Earth Day on April 22. Activities of the Foundation is working with Astra Honda Motor, government agencies, community organizations, and primary dealers of Honda in Indonesia. Motorcycle exports grew 117%
Decline in motorcycle sales in the first quarter followed I/2012 not export it jumped 117% from a year ago. Data AISI mention motorcycle market during the January-March 1.93 million vehicles, down 3.1% from the same period last year which amounted to 1.99 million units. Exports in the period jumped 117%, from 8445 units to 18 370 units. Data from one of the members of AISI said exports in the first 3 months of 10 638 units dominated by Suzuki, Yamaha unit 2900, unit 2890 Kawasaki, TVS 1242 unit, and Honda 700 units.(Bisnis Indonesia, 23 April, 2012, p i8)
