Circuit MIL (malfunction Indicator Lamp)
EXPLANATION
MIL (malfunction Indicator Lamp) is used to indicate vehicle malfunctions aredetected by the ECM. At the time of the ignition switch turned to the ON position, power is supplied to the MIL circuit, and circuit the ECM receives a MIL light.
MIL work may be examined visually: When the ignition switch turned to the ONposition the first time, the MIL will light up and then goes out. If the MIL stays lit ornot lit, perform the following troubleshooting procedures.
