INSPECTION SYSTEM IN THE VEHICLE COOLING TOYOTA AVANZA
A. CHECK THE RELEASE OF COOLING SYSTEM.
1.Remove the radiator cap.
CAUTION:
To prevent the danger of heat, do not open the radiator cap while the engine and radiator are still hot. Hot liquids and vapors can spray out under pressure.Thermal expansion can cause engine coolant to heat and steam gushed out of the radiator.
2.Fill the radiator with engine coolant and radiator cap tester pairs.
3.Heat the engine.
4.Pumps up to 137 kPa (1.4 kgf/cm2, 17.1 psi), then check that the pressure does not go down. If the pressure is off, check the hose leaks, radiator and water pump.If there is no sign of external leakage of engine coolant, check the heater core, cylinder block and cylinder head.
5.Replace radiator cap back on.
B. CHECK THE LEVEL ON THE ENGINE COOLING RESERVOIR.
1.Engine coolant level should be between the lines "LOW" and "FULL" when engine is cold. When the lower leak check and add the "Toyota Super Long Life Coolant" or similar high quality ethylene glycol based non-silicate, non-amine, non-nitrite, and non-borate coolant with long-life hybrid organic acid technology, until the line "FULL ".
C. CHECK THE QUALITY OF LIQUID COOLING MACHINE
1.Remove the radiator cap
.WARNING:
To prevent the danger of heat, do not open the radiator cap while the engine and radiator are still hot. Hot liquids and vapors can spray out under pressure.Thermal expansion can cause engine coolant to heat and steam gushed out of the radiator. 2.Check around the radiator cap and filling the holes of the crust or rust; engine coolant should be free from oil. If gross exaggeration, replace the engine coolant.
3.Replace the radiator cap.
FAN COOLING SYSTEM SYSTEM DIAGRAM
INSTRUCTIONS:
Electrical fan control system fan motors used engine coolant temperature sensor, and relay turn on and off in accordance with the engine coolant temperature.
FAN COOLING SYSTEM> INVESTIGATION ON THE VEHICLE
A. CHECK THE COOLING FAN TO WORK ON LOW TEMPERATURE (below83 ° C (181 ° F)
1.Check that the cooling fan is not spinning when the ignition switch turned to ONwith switch A / C OFF.
2.Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor, then turn the ignition switch toON. Check that the cooling fan spins.
B. CHECK THE COOLING FAN TO WORK ON HIGH TEMPERATURE (above97.6 ° C (208 ° F))
1.After a heated machine, check that switch A / C OFF.
2.Check that the cooling fan starts rotating when the coolant temperature higher than 97.6 ° C (208 ° F) and that the fan stops spinning when the coolant temperature is lower than 95.5 ° C (204 ° F).
CAUTION:
Engine coolant temperature sensor diindra by the engine coolant temperature atthe outlet of the water (engine outlet) on the cylinder head.
C. CHECK THE MOTOR COOLING FAN
1.Unplug the motor cooling fan.
2.Check that the cooling fan rotates gently when the battery is connected to the motor fan connector.
3.Using the ammeter, measure current by maintaining the step (b).
Strong currents standards:
5.2 to 8.2 A
4.Connect the cooling fan motors.
HOW TO REPLACE FLUID COOLING ENGINE TOYOTA AVANZA.
A. CLOSING OFF BOTTOM MACHINE (for Metal Type)
1.Remove the 6 bolts and clips, then remove the bottom engine cover.
B. ENGINE COOLANT CHANNEL
WARNING:
To prevent the danger of heat, do not open the radiator cap while the engine andradiator are still hot. Hot liquids and vapors can spray out under pressure.Thermal expansion can cause engine coolant to heat and steam gushed out of theradiator assembly.
1.Loosen the drain plug radiator valve channel.
2.Remove the radiator cap sub-assembly.
3.Loosen the drain plug drains and drain coolant.
C. ADD LIQUID COOLING MACHINE.
INSTRUCTIONS:.
Engine coolant that does not fit can damage the engine cooling system..Use only Toyota Super Long Life Coolant or similar superior quality ethylene glycol based non-silicate, non-amine, non-nitrite, and non-borate engine coolant with long-life hybrid organic acid technology (coolant tech machines long-life organic chemistry hybrid contains a blend of low phosphates and organic chemicals)..The new Toyota vehicles are filled with Toyota Super Long Life Coolant. At the time of replacing the engine coolant, recommended Toyota Super Long Life Coolant.
CAUTION:
Do not use alcohol-based antifreeze or just water the soil only.
1.Tighten all of the blockage.
2.Loosen and remove the air-bleeding valve A and B.
3.Fill the radiator with engine coolant from the charging hole.
CAUTION:
It is advisable to use deionized water or distilled water when diluting the engine coolant.
4.Do not use excess water.
5.Tighten the air bleeding valve A when the engine coolant from the overflow valve A.
6.Tighten the air bleeding valve B when the engine coolant from the overflow valve B.
CAUTION:.
Close the generator is placed under the air bleeder plug with cotton waste cloth or piece of cloth so that the generator is not wet by the engine coolant..If the engine coolant from the overflow valve is not A or B, during step (e) through (f), tighten the valve after the engine coolant from the radiator overflow.
7.Replace the radiator cap when the engine coolant from the radiator overflow.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Observe the engine coolant level in the radiator hose to pressing the enter and exit radiator hose a few times by hand. When the engine coolant level goes down, add engine coolant.
8.Fill the reservoir tank to the surface of the radiator is full.
9.Turn on the machine and keep it on rotation 2000 rpm. Heat the engine until the cooling fan works.
INSTRUCTIONS:
When heating the engine, press the inlet and outlet radiator hose a few times.
10.Turn off the engine and wait until the engine coolant temperature to cool. Then open the radiator cap and check the engine coolant level.
11.If the surface of the cooling fluid to be down, repeat steps (b) to (i).
12.When the surface of the coolant stops down, set the amount of coolant in the radiator reservoir tank.
Capacity:
M / T:6.95 liter (7.3 U.S. qts, 6.1 Imp. Qts)
